Please Meet: Arrielle
Every week leading up to the 3rd Annual Little Black Dress Night, we’ll feature a member of Young Women’s Leadership Society. This week, we’re featuring Arrielle, a wise and mature ChiTech junior.
Arrielle is a junior at ChiTech Academy. She originally came to ChiTech to try something new. Tech wasn’t her strong suit, so she chose to challenge herself. Arrielle’s favorite thing about YWLS is spending time with the ladies who are different than her. Her favorite YWLS memory is learning to ice skate at Winter Fest. It was the first time she felt like a part of the club or wanted and as if her presence mattered. Brave, faithful and calm, Arrielle plans to go to the University of Illinois after graduating from ChiTech to study architecture. One day, she dreams of having her own firm and building a community center to benefit the lives of those in need.
Arrielle’s friends describe her as adorable, happy and delightful. Her role model is actress and singer Janelle Monáe, who Arrielle thinks is extremely beautiful and intelligent. A true leader, Monáe is passionate in what she does, wants to make a change, doesn’t mind being different. Arrielle enjoys art and video games and lives in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago.
Be sure to register for the 3rd Annual Little Black Dress Night. You can also learn more about YWLS here.
