This August we welcome nearly 350 students to ChiTech as we begin our 10th school year with much excitement and Panther pride!

WELCOME TO OUR NEW PRINCIPAL
Almost ten years ago, ChiTech was created to be a different kind of learning experience for students—a place that provides students with great educators, experiential learning, and new pathways to future success. We are proud of our successes, but know our future is brighter still.
As we look to our future, we see continued growth of the student body, teaching team, and more resources to fulfill the school’s mission, and we found a leader to move ChiTech in this direction. On behalf of the Chicago’s tech community and the Board of Directors, we are excited to welcome Mr. Keith Palz as our new principal.

CLASS OF 2023
We’re excited to welcome a growing freshmen class of 100+ students and are closing in on our enrollment target. Our students come from nearly 30 zip codes across Chicago and we are proud that our incoming class is 44% female.

NEW COMPUTERS FOR ALL STUDENTS
This year, for the first time, we are also happy that all of our students will receive their own personal laptop they can use in the classroom, at home with homework and projects, and during their internships. This 1:1 technology program is possible due to the generous support of T4Youth and all of our corporate partners.

COLLABORATION ACROSS PROJECTS & CLASSES
We understand the world is increasing global and interconnected at the same time. This year, we are doubling down on our commitment to preparing our students for tech careers of the future by offering increased cross-subject collaboration between teachers. This year, every teacher will collaborate on at least one project and we look forward to updating you on these collaborative efforts throughout the year.
